Scheduling the personal use of your RV is easy. Most of us usually have certain times of the year that we absolutely know we will want to vacation in our RVs.
When delivery of your new RV is taken, the location manager/owner will discuss your schedule and “block out” the dates that you have definite plans for. The location will rent your RV around your scheduled dates, keeping the RV open for your use on the dates you’ve selected.
You may also call ahead of time to schedule new “quick getaway” dates, and, as long as the RV is not rented, it will be available for you. If it is rented, the location staff will try to move your rental to someone else’s RV to make yours available.
The key is communication and planning. Although you can use your RV as often as you want, most RV owners use their RVs two to three times per year in order to maximize their rental revenue.
The best part is that when you are ready to have fun, your RV will be clean, fueled and ready for you! It also feels great driving down the highway knowing that while you have not been using your RV, it has been producing income instead of draining your savings.
